Harlequin and Picasso

The Harlequin pattern greatly influenced the artworks of postmodernism period which interest are more to the geometric shapes. For example, the famost painter from cubism movement, Picasso, has painted quite a lot paintings with Harlequin as the object(s). Actually besides the cubism, Picasso also painted a lot of paintings with different style which is some of them are more realistic than cubism. However, this painting below is my most favorite Harlequin painting made by Picasso. The most interesting part of it is Picasso used the typical diamond shape pattern as the hint that indicate that the object of the painting is Harlequin.
